Welcome Cindy Scott
As many of you may already know, Mr. Steve Coco is no longer here at Bedford Elementary School. He is now Principle at Cedarmere Elementary. While we will wish him well, we are pleased to welcome Ms. Cindy Scott as our new Assistant Principle.

New Dismissal Procedures
This year, there will be some new procedures for dismissal for car riders. Car riders will no longer wait in lines outside to be picked up in the afternoons. These students will wait in the building under their assigned number which corresponds to the assigned number of the vehicle picking them up. Parents will keep their assigned numbers in their front car windows and when coming through the loop, our staff will see the number and call for those students. We feel this will make dismissal a safer, more orderly experience for everyone.

"No Child Left Behind"
Our focus at Bedford, as always, is on student achievement. We will continue that mission to educate and nurture young minds by continuing the quality journey of "No Child Left Behind." We will also work with you to strengthen our Professional Learning Community. We believe that all children can learn, and we at Bedford, with your support, will remain focused on doing all that we can to make sure your child is successful.
